After delaying the inevitable, I finally mustered enough time and emotional energy to watch the highly acclaimed film, Precious. And after watching the film, a Netflix subscriber’s comment summarized my sentiments almost perfectly:

Just got back from a KILLING jam session in Baltimore, where I linked up with some DC jazz musicians.
